Joystick implement control with touchscreen display

LEMKEN introduces the new CCI A3 for ISOBUS control

LEMKEN has worked with the CCI network to introduce an ISOBUS control unit with keys that can be flexibly assigned and digitally labelled – a great step towards easy, intuitive operation. The new CCI A3 joystick with flexibly configurable touchscreen display combines a range of technologies. As the currently assigned functions are directly displayed, operators do not need to memorise them.

The CCI A3 screen comes with snap-on grids to divide the display into different sections which show the icons for the respective functions. Three different grids with 8, 9 and 10 sections are included as standard. These can be replaced within seconds, and the CCI A3 automatically recognises the change. The grids act as haptic separators between keys to ensure that operators can control them safely and confidently even without looking. The CCI A3 acknowledges every input with an acoustic signal and by vibrating, so that operators always have confirmation that the requested function is being performed.

A solution has also been found for existing implements which support the AUX-N standard, but are not capable of transmitting the control icons to the CCI A3 via ISOBUS. Operators are now able to assign symbols from a freely available pool to the key sections on the display. These icons are stored on the CCI A3 and can be assigned to the key sections from a settings menu. Raising the boom of a field sprayer can, for example, be done by using the same key section as raising a drag hose on a slurry tanker.

The CCI A3 is immediately available from LEMKEN for the Sirius 12 and Vega 12 field sprayers.
